چکیده
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the phonological processing skills between children with delay and disorder compared those typically developing children. This aimed explore whether show general or specific weakness on if can differentiate from disorder. Methods: participants were 27 speech sound disorders (SSDs) 20 Children SSDs consisted 10 17 tasks for involved awareness at levels word, syllable, body-coda, phoneme; memory tests including nonword repetition sentence repetition; retrieval through rapid automatized number naming test. Results: showed significantly lower word level than they also exhibited as well Both performed less Conclusion: suggests that are higher risk deficits in processing, their which taps is more prominent normal delay.

Study of Phonological Awareness in Children with Phonological Disorders
Objective: The relationship between phonological awareness and phonological disorders has been considered in recent decades. Phonological awareness deficits in children with phonological disorders could be due to a deficit in phonological abilities. The present study attempts to study the phonological awareness deficits in children with phonological disorders. Materials & Methods: This was ...
متن کاملAuditory processing skills and phonological representation in dyslexic children.
It is now well-established that there is a causal connection between children's phonological skills and their acquisition of reading and spelling. Here we study low-level auditory processes that may underpin the development of phonological representations in children. Dyslexic and control children were given a battery of phonological tasks, reading and spelling tasks and auditory processing tas...
متن کاملEffect of phonemic perception training on the speech production and phonological awareness skills of children with expressive phonological delay.
Children with expressive phonological delays often possess poor underlying perceptual knowledge of the sound system and show delayed development of segmental organization of that system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the benefits of a perceptual approach to the treatment of expressive phonological delay. Thirty-four preschoolers with moderate or severe expressive phonological del...

متن کاملChildren with speech sound disorder: comparing a non-linguistic auditory approach with a phonological intervention approach to improve phonological skills
This study aimed to compare the effects of a non-linguistic auditory intervention approach with a phonological intervention approach on the phonological skills of children with speech sound disorder (SSD). A total of 17 children, aged 7-12 years, with SSD were randomly allocated to either the non-linguistic auditory temporal intervention group (n = 10, average age 7.7 ± 1.2) or phonological int...
